Welcome to Aotearoa, the Land of the Long White Cloud

Sometimes New Zealand can feel a million miles away. Wild, rugged & windswept full of glaciers and fjords, golden sand beaches and sprawling forests, everywhere you go the sound of abundant native birdlife.

It is a paradise, that’s for sure. But for me, it’s also home.

New Zealand is where I was born, where I was raised, and where I continue to return to each time my nomad life leads me back home to rest, recuperate and spend time with my family.

I love writing about New Zealand, and I love sharing insights into local life, Kiwi culture, local food, and travel tips to inspire you to hop over here for a visit sometime.
