I’m a little obsessed with the South Pacific Islands. ⁣

Growing up in New Zealand I guess we are already a part of that – an Island in the South Pacific. A little bigger, a little less tropical. ⁣

When I first visited the other islands of the South Pacific it blew my mind! So beautiful, so welcoming, so much amazing culture, language, myth, and story. ⁣

Thanks to the film Moana the world caught on to the magnificence of the Pacific island nations.⁣

Here’s a beautiful sandy spot I used to lay and read my book back when I was a flight attendant operating Virgin Samoa flights and spent up to a couple of nights a week here in Apia, Samoa.⁣

Absolute paradise!

This is a budding post, It's a work in progress

Notice anything missing? This is a budding post, which means although it's mostly complete, I'm still dropping in and working on it. I believe in learning in public, and releasing my thoughts, notes & ideas before they are finished is a part of the process. You can read more about seedling, budding, and evergreen posts here, or give me a nudge if there's anything you'd like me to add.
